Scarifying – Mechanical Floor Preparation

Scarifying: to reduce bumps and high points on concrete substrate to facilitate flooring installation and to keep self-levelling underlayment average as low as possible to respect tolerances (door frames, elevators, stair cages…)

Corrections can be made to the concrete floor. Our scarifiers are equipped with a cylinder that rotates in the opposite direction of the machine, allowing a slight shattering of the surface forming small streaks on the concrete. This feature allows concrete to be attacked at shallow depth, giving it a rough and non-slip appearance.

Our concrete floor scarifiers allow you to create a series of grooves that will be distributed evenly in order to make the floors non-slip.
